LOLER Visual Inspection

A typical LOLER will typically include the following aspects:

  • A visual inspection to identify any possible defects in the equipment.
  • A functional test to show that the equipment operates correctly and safely
  • A lifting test shows whether the equipment will hold the intended weight.

If any defects are identified, the equipment will be required to either be repaired or replaced before it can be used again for its purpose. The report we give will stored on file and made available to the relevant authoritative figures who might ask to see it at their discretion.

Without completing the regular inspection intervals, implications such as a reduction of the safety of the equipment being used put yourself and others at risk of potential injury. As well as the health implications, the HSE board can shut down your operations until all amendments are completed satisfactorily. The legal complications can also involve prosecutions with heavy fines.

Our expert staff are fully trained in LOLER inspections and provide professional mobile services to all customers requiring our LOLER inspection services.
